SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ:QUIK), a developer of ultra-low power multi-core voice-enabled SoCs, embedded FPGA IP, display bridge and programmable logic solutions, today announced that Shenzhen AONI Electronic Ltd., a manufacturer of intelligent audio and video hardware has selected the company's EOS™ S3 multi-core voice enabled System on a Chip (SoC) for its Bluetooth®-enabled sport earphone and its Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) Bluetooth
headphone set. Both products enable the wearer to use their voice to connect to Amazon Alexa Voice Services (AVS) and issue music control commands.
As Junko Yoshida of EE Times commented at CES 2018, voice is one of the three building blocks that will "compose the holy trinity of consumer electronic devices that will drive the market in 2018 and further into the future."
QuickLogic displayed the AONI Bluetooth-enabled earphone and headset with local voice command support for the Alexa Assistant in their demo suite at CES. The AONI Bluetooth headphones provide active noise cancellation technology to enable users to enjoy their music anytime and anywhere. Ergonomic design, easy adjustability, and long battery lifetimes further enhance the user's comfort and convenience.
